Hi, I’m Ranger Darling, the founder of Hikes of Georgia. I’m a park ranger, mycology enthusiast, and a passionate/experienced hiker who loves exploring Georgia’s beautiful landscape and foraging. It’s taken years to get to this point, but it was all worth it. As an experienced hiker and fungi expert, I know how intimidating it can be to get started with hiking. That’s why I created Hikes of Georgia – to help others discover the joys of hiking in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.
